A few words about Elizabeth
Elizabeth "Betty" believes each individual is precious and all are here for the betterment of self and others. Everyone has life lessons to learn, and we are both teacher and student throughout this journey. Betty's hope is to empower individuals to be their best self: to have trust and faith in their own abilities, to love and be loved, and to find joy and peace in life. Betty is excited to accompany others in their evolution and appreciates the wisdom clients bestow upon her in her own quest to be her best self. Graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW), Betty went on to complete her Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) in 1990. She is licensed as an Independent Social Worker (LISW) through the State of Iowa. In addition, Betty is a Reiki Master Practitioner, a Certified Angel Card Reader, and a reader of the Akashic Records.
In private practice since 2006, Betty works exclusively with adults in psychotherapy, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, stress management, relationships, and grief, with special interest in spirituality. Having entered the field in 1986, she brings with her a wealth of experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. Working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, Betty has provided services in private homes, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and out-patient clinics.
